This continues the discussion that was started in 2020 about Central Bank Digital Currency where the there is a "digital dollar" that potentially uses a new payment rail. Having an additional payment rail comes with endless possibilities for community banks as well as some risk.
In this webinar we will discuss the 40-page paper and what are important next steps for community banks. The Federal Reserve has also asked for feedback for 20 questions - we will likely go over all the questions in subsequent webinars.
